View Over Zero

Project role: Logotype, Brand Identity,  Brochure Design 

View Over Zero is a concept for a program to send humanity into orbit to witness Earth. The goal is to invoke the Overview Effect:  

a cognitive shift reported by some astronauts while viewing the Earth from space where they no longer view themselves as citizens of a nation but as united beings of Earth.

Logotype

My goal was to make an eye-catching logotype that could convey the themes of unity, getting rid of borders, and returning importance to Earth. ​

Alternative Logotype

An alternative logotype was made in cases where the original's reverse pyramid shape would be awkward.
